Renowned electromechanical manufacturer Lumberg Automation recently released new IP69K wash-down connectors with vibration-resistant M8 and M12 connection technology.

When using these connectors dependable data transmission is ensured at all times, even under the most extreme environmental conditions or challenging working parameters. The wash-down connector is capable of withstanding temperatures from -40 to +105°C and is incredibly resistant to aggressive chemicals and cleaning agents.

With industrial protection classes IP67IP68 and IP69K, it is possible to clean the wash-down connectors using high-pressure equipment without affecting the resilience of the product. This means the connectors are suitable for use in sectors where stringent hygiene regulations apply, such as food and beverage, chemical and pharmaceutical industries.

As a result of Lumberg’s standardized connection technology, these robust products are easy to install which saves considerable time. They are available in a number of different pole versions and as actuator and sensor cordsets using M8 and M12 technology.

Lumbergs wash-down connectors are available in 3-, 4-, 5-, or 8-pole versions (M8 3 or 4 poles) with a contact resistance up to ≤ 5 mΩ. The connectors are housed in a smart and compact cream-white housing made of polypropylene (PP).
