New business development/ Internal Sales role £20-£25K

Electroustic – Office based in Calverton, Milton Keynes


Electroustic is a family owned business that specialises in the distribution ofindustrial connectors andconnectivity solutions.

We are looking to expand our dedicated team with a Business Development Executive solely focused on the generation and development of new business.


Are you imaginative, tenacious and motivated by taking ideas and making them happen? Are you confident, well organised and pleasant to deal with? If so we would like to hear from you.

The responsibility level is not fixed as we have the flexibility to fit the role to the successful applicant’s experience. Therefore there is a salary range for this position.

You will be encouraged to bring new ideas and commercial strategy concepts to the table. You should be able to work with minimal supervision but at the same time you will be working as part of a small integrated team.

Day-to-day responsibilities will include;

  • Research and qualify new, quality business leads
  • Initiate prospecting activities via phone and email
  • Build and develop relationships
  • Identify opportunities for cross selling the Companies products and services.
  • Recording all information on our Sage ACT CRM database.

This is not a 100 dial a day telesales role. We want a systematic, business focused professional sales approach.

The ideal candidate will need to have;

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Be friendly & efficient with a good attention to detail
  • The ability to overcome objections and be rejection tolerant
  • Quick to learn
  • Experience of business to business sales is essential.
  • Electrical/electronic knowledge is preferred, but not crucial.
