Electroustic is a growing family owned distributor specialising in industrial connectors and factory automation products from top brands. We supply a wide variety of customers operating in all market sectors.

We are seeking a 1st line Internal Technical Support/Technical Sales engineer to provide technical support to external clients and internal employees. This opportunity would suit a technically minded individual who has some experience within the industrial sector or someone looking to get away from a hands-on engineering role into a technical support sales role. You will ideally have at least a years experience in providing technical support within a similar sector. A technical electrical / electronic qualification would be an advantage.

You will be computer literate and have excellent communication skills both written and verbal. Have the ability to work independently and be a team player with a ‘can do’ attitude.

The key duties will include:

  • Provide telephone technical support to our customers.
  • Support our sales force with technical enquiries.
  • Develop and maintain a full knowledge of all of the company’s major products, systems and key features of major competitors.
  • Research applications and sectors that require our portfolio of products to generate new business.
  • Identify and contact potential new customers and sectors to focus on.
  • Manage the new client contact process and liaise with other sales associates and departments to ensure sales are generated and closed.
  • Ensure the company database and CRM systems are kept up to date with customer details and contact history.

We offer private medical care after completing a 6 month probation period. Holiday entitlement; 20 days plus bank holidays in addition to our annual Christmas shut-down.
