Founded over 50 years ago during the economic boom of 1960’s Italy, Scame established itself in the heart of Italy’s most important manufacturing district.  Over the last 50 years Scame has developed an impressive range of over 15,000 products lines. Quality is an integral part of Scame culture and is embedded in all aspects of everyday activity within Scame.  In 1993 Scame was among the first Italian companies to obtain UNI EN ISO 9001 standards, renewed in 2002 according to Vision 2000.  In 2003 Scame also obtained certification of its environmental management system to UNI EN ISO 14001 standards which by activating measures for improvement, continuous controls and appropriate corrective actions, fuels a virtuous circle of constant eco-friendly improvement.  In 2013 SCAME was rewarded with BS OHSAS 18001 certification in recognition of its health and safety work.
