RJ45 Industrial is the new, robust data connector for the industrial IP20 environment. The new, one-piece design allows easy and safe handling in the field. The durable zinc die-cast housing offers a high level of protection against mechanical and electrical interference. Phoenix Contact RJ45 Industrial QUICKON Connectors are robust RJ45 plug-in connectors for fast data transmission (up to 10Gbps) in industrial environments. These connectors are designed for the industrial IP20 environment and include both Ethernet CAT5e and Profinet CAT5e. The RJ45 industrial connectors have tough zinc die-cast housing with latching spring which provides vibration resistance and protection against mechanical and electrical interferences. These Phoenix Contact connectors offer a metal locking mechanism for secure and permanent hold.
The Phoenix Contact Industrial QUICKON RJ45 Connectors are built using Phoenix Contact’s QUICKON Quick Connection Technology. This technology offers error-free installation with reliable connections. Each connector supports tool-free assembly with stainless steel pressure springs that insure a secure hold under the intense vibration of harsh environments. The RJ45 Ethernet connectors are IP20 rated for CAT 5e and CAT 6A applications and are configured as a standard 8 position Ethernet plug. These modular connectors also provide very high resistance to ESD and EMI for reliable data transmission in noisy electronic environments.
All connectors in this family are built with rugged zinc housing, and are available in straight and angled versions for ease of connection in space restricting areas. Both shielded and unshielded versions are available from Complete Electronics Ltd and each modular connector passes IP20 requirements for use in industrial environments.
The Industrial QUICKON RJ45 Connectors from Phoenix Contact are engineered for a long lifespan and over 750 insertion/withdrawal cycles, targeting communications-based applications including industrial gateways and networking.
