Milton Keynes based connector firm to host Macmillan Coffee Morning
Industrial connector and Ethernet specialist Electroustic is organising a Macmillan coffee morning for local enterprises in Milton Keynes and the surrounding areas, in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support's World's Biggest Coffee Morning on 25 September, 2015. Electroustic would like to invite local companies to come along and make new friends, enjoy some homemade cakes and help raise money for Macmillan from 10am to noon at the Abbey Hill Golf Centre.
Macmillan's 2014 Coffee Morning raised over £25 million for the charity. This money goes towards helping those affected by cancer through some of the most difficult periods of their lives.
"Cancer affects so many people; it's certainly something that has touched the lives of everyone here at Electroustic in one way or another," explained Amy Wells, business development manager of the company. "Macmillan is an amazing charity, in that it not only provides essential support, but also creates a great sense of community.
"We wanted to host our own Macmillan Coffee Morning to raise money for a fantastic cause, but also to help local businesses get together. The morning is designed to give companies the chance to network in a friendly environment and learn a bit more about how we can help one another."
